QUANTITATIVE INTERPRETATION OF SIT/PIT RESULTS
€ 795,-
From qualitative assessment to quantitative analysis
Perform full quantitative SIT/PIT analyses with confidence
The results of pile integrity testing using SIT or PIT rely on a quantitative interpretation approach. This approach compares individual signals to the Site Characteristic, the site’s ‘signature’. When defects in the pile must be quantified, additional in-depth analyses are required.
Using Allnamics’ advanced quantitative interpretation technique, based on AllWave-SIT simulations, the pile’s impedance can be determined from SIT/PIT signals.
Participants are expected to have prior knowledge of low-strain integrity testing, SIT/PIT methods, and the fundamentals of 1D stress wave behavior. After completing this training, trainees will be able to perform full quantitative analyses with confidence.
During the training you will
- Revisit the fundamentals of one-dimensional stress wave theory
- Learn how soil conditions and defects influence SIT/PIT signals
- Understand the limitations of traditional interpretation methods
- Recognize the pitfalls of ignoring the Site Characteristic
- Learn the basics of Signal Matching
- Work hands-on with the AllWave-SIT software
- Prepare and present quantitative interpretation reports
Prior knowledge
Prior knowledge of low-strain integrity testing, SIT/PIT methods and the fundamentals of 1D stress wave behavior is expected.
Who should attend?
- Test engineers and testing firms
- Piling contractors
- Piling engineers and geotechnical experts
